  1. Prepare a statement showing the estimated profit or loss for each product and in total for TWO (2) methods mentioned in (a). [14 marks]

Luxury Bakery Enterprise makes and sells cheese cakes at a price of RM50 per unit. The variable cost is RM40 per unit and the budgeted fixed cost is RM60,000 per annum. The budgeted sales are 8,000 units.

Required:

  1. Calculate the margin of safety in units. [2 marks]

  1. Calculate the breakeven point in units if the selling price increases by 10%.
