Part B: The Recorded Interview

- Once approved by the professor, secure the informed consent of the interviewee in writing, by creating a form letter that:
- Describes who you are,
- Explains your reasons for interviewing them,
- Confirms that they are providing this information freely;
- Informs them that their responses to questions would be recorded;
- Informs them that their recorded responses and voice would be shared during a presentation of the assignment to the class;
- Informs them that at any point they may choose to discontinue the interview;
- Informs them that the information provided would ONLY be used for purposes of this assignment and that none of the information provided would be divulged outside the class; and
- Informs them that any and all records of the interview would be permanently destroyed after the grade appeal period.
