Select an article, website, blog or video that explains how issues of privacy and confidentiality are regulated in research at private firms in another country outside the EU. Write a brief informal summary of that country's approach emphasizing values that are shared across your chosen country, the EU (based on your GDPR reading) and the US (i.e. global concerns), but highlighting international differences in the regulations that aim to uphold those values (i.e. local approaches). Formal citations are not necessary, but do include a link to the article, website, blog or video you referenced.
