Select one engineering company directly related to your studied engineering stream/specialisation, one engineering job role within the company, and two different methods for researching it (sources of information; ideally those that you can obtain from home). Using each method of research, identify four different and relevant pieces of evidence/information (2.5 marks each) that should be considered by any engineers looking to apply with the company. This information should concern the nature of the work or workplace environment for that job; briefly explain your expectation based on the information you obtained and any concerns regarding the realism/accuracy of the information. References are required for any information obtained; see the EIT referencing guide (available on Moodle) for how to reference each method used. For example, one method, one piece of information (you may not use the below for your assessments): Company: BHP Billiton Limited. Engineering Job Role: Mining Supervisor (South Flank). Evidence: BHP Billiton Limited Annual Report 2018. Information: 'Total recordable injury frequency (TRIF) performance increased by five per cent in FY2018 to 4.4 per million hours worked, compared to 4.2 in FY2017.
