Sense I have been in my master's program, I reference my school a lot because it is run similarly in that they are a large business where it is providing a "service" even though no money is being exchanged. Over the past couple of months, I have learned that our principle and vice principle are definitely leaders, and not managers. They look at all sides of issues and communicate effectively about what steps need to be taken in order to come up with a solution, but you as the employee are in there with them being a part of the conversation as well and assist with finding a solution. Without truly understanding personnel psychology (or even that it is a thing) my school administrations have been using the knowledge that they do have and are working to increase employee improvement, in a positive way
