Series LC circuit powered by an AC source is actually EM radiation emitter. When the circuit is powered by a source of frequency f $\text{'}$ electric field in the capacitor chances f $\text{'}$ times per second. This produces a changing electric field. While in the inductor the magnetic field also changes f $\text{'}$ times per second. This produces a changing magnetic field. Altogether a changing electric and magnetic field or hence electromagnetic field of frequency f $\text{'}$ is generated by the LC circuit.

But this emitted wave has only a particular form or shape. The shape will not change over time. So if we tune a radio with f $\text{'}$ frequency we may listen particular frequency $($not something melodious obviously$).$
