Small and medium scale enterprises $($SMEs$)$ form a major part of Ghana$$s economy. SMEs in

Ghana contribute to $80\%$ of employment and $60\%$ of the country$$s gross domestic product $($GDP$).$

SMEs are found in all sectors of the economy including the agricultural, manufacturing,

construction and retail sectors$.$ However, SMEs face a lot of challenges. Some of these include

exchange rate fluctuations, inadequate cash flow, limited access to financing, supply chain

disruptions, license obligations and the ability to attract and retain skilled employees.

You work for a consulting company that specializes in developing technology solutions for SMES.

Based on research your company has conducted you have realized that the following are key

success factors for SMES:

$1.$ Maintaining accurate financial records and regularly monitoring cash flow.

$2.$ Diversifying the customer base and exploring new market opportunities.

$3.$ Staying informed about regulatory changes and seeking professional advice and support

from the regulatory agencies

$4.$ Building a strong workforce through effective recruitment, training and employee

engagement.

$5.$ Establishing good relationships with suppliers.

$6.$ Access to finance to support operations.

$7.$ Competitive pricing.

TASKS

Using the knowledge and skills acquired in the course, develop a software$-$based solution that

enables SMEs to implement ONLY $(1)$ ONE of the key success factors outlined above.

Specifically, you are to:

$1.$ Select only $(1)$ ONE key success factor from the list above and identify what type of

software solution would be ideal for implementing it$.$ Provide at least $2($TWO$)$ reasons

why you think your chosen solution is appropriate.

$2.$ Identify an appropriate software process model that is suitable for developing the

solution. Develop a diagram that shows each stage of the process model and the activities

that are to be completed at each stage.

$3.$ Identify the stakeholders involved in developing the solutions. Based on these generate

functional and non$-$function requirements for the solution. Provide references where

necessary.

$4.$ Prioritize the features generated in Task $3$ and develop use case diagrams for $3$ important

features. Explain why you have prioritized the features in your use case diagrams.

$5.$ Provide a diagram that shows the software architecture that can be used to implement

your chosen solution. All the components of the architecture should be clearly labeled

and their roles$/$ functions should be explained.

$6.$ Using Jotform$$s drag and drop builder, create a prototype of your application that has a

MINIMUM of $2($TWO$)$ screens.
