So my topic is the US v. Microsoft case. I need help picking out 3 main points to talk about and possibly a supporting detail.

Here's my approach:

My approach for this research paper is to dive deeper into the history of Antitrust laws and how they've changed the world as we know it. My sources all revolve around the same message I'm trying to convey. In order to understand the United States v. Microsoft case and verdict, I needed to weigh in on a judge named Robert Bork, who single-handedly transformed the way the courts interpreted antitrust laws, opening the doors for tech giants to control as much as they do. Bork's book on the antitrust paradox would criticize the government's involvement in the free market, implying that the government consistently being in favor of the little guy wasn't defending competition but rather making it illegal to have any kind of competition at all. This kind of aggressive enforcement completely turned the idea around, focusing on the consumer rather than protecting the firms themselves. I also referenced a source that focuses on the positive aspects of the paradox making sure to get both sides on the matter to really understand how Bork's influence has had a negative but also positive impact on consumers and businesses.
