You are using a kit from the company QIAGEN, the kit Is called: QlAamp DNA micro Kit” and the catalog number for ordering is 56304.
Procedure:
1. Place 10mg of mouse Liver Into a 1 Sml sterile Eppendorf tube (this has been done for you). Label with your name, today’s date and your ABT class.
2. Add 180ul Buffer ATL, leave at room temperature for Sins.
3. Add 20ul Proteinase K and mix by vortexing for 10sec.
4. Wrap parafilm around the top of the 1.5mL Eppendorf tube (not necessary if using screw Capped tubes) and incubate at S6C overnight.
S. Samples will be stored for you until next week at -20°C.
