Social responsibility will be integrated into my groups recommendations for Nikes strategic plan to ensure that they continue to produce high-quality, ethically created, and responsible products. One strategy that we have been considering is introducing a new shoe exchange program to impact local communities by taking gently used shoes and repurposing them to those in need or to perform a one-for-one campaign. According to Murphy (2019), social responsibility is considered a necessity to a business because it helps improve many different aspects of an organization. From productivity, morale and empowerment, and even attracting customers, social responsibility helps create connections and relationships (Murphy, 2019).
