(10 Marks) Question 3 You are given a task to lead a New Product Introduction (NPI) project which is the process that takes an idea from an initial working prototype before confirming it for final mass production. The product, which is a polyester (plastics) drone propeller as shown in Figure 1 has intricate shapes making in difficult to be fabricated manually. Once the prototype is confirmed, this product is planned to be manufactured at least 10,000 parts/year using an injection moulding process. There is also a risk of new product could mechanically fail in the first attempt in the market. Using the information provided, propose a plan to use the modern manufacturing technology in fabricating the prototype.
