Resume Portfolio Instructions

To complete the portfolio item, you will create your own resume based on the lesson guidelines. After you create your resume, use the checklist to ensure that you have followed all of the guidelines.

Instructions

1. Create a resume.
2. Clearly state your job objective. Use active words to describe how you have contributed to companies or organizations in the past.
3. List your skills and provide brief examples.
4. List your education, honors, activities, and special skills.
5. On a separate page, list at least three references that are not family members.
6. Check the resume for spelling and grammar errors.
7. After you complete your resume, evaluate how well you constructed it by using the checklist.
