Sorry this is going to be a long one I caught covid a few weeks ago which I'm still getting over it, but I am still trying to catch up and learn everything that I missed which has been difficult. However, I just would like to know the best way to go about this assignment. I don't expect for this to be completed however an outline or instructions on the best way to complete this assignment would be wonderful. Thank you in advance!

Prepare a design for a Java program that would solve a significant business problem. Four business case examples are provided with the assignment (See Page 3), but you are strongly encouraged to use your own real-world business case. If you use one of the provided examples, you will need to create your own problem description and enhance the case. It is not acceptable to copy and paste the description given in the assignment. To limit the problem to a reasonable scope, assume the system will be used in a small business environment. Note also that this assignment does not require you to write/submit a java program. Research and evaluate the essential requirements and usage of such a system, and create a design for a Java program that would solve the problem. Your design report should be at least three pages and at most four pages. For full points, your solution must include all five of these sections. Please clearly identify the sections in your document:

(1) Problem Description: Describe the salient features and main components of the business problem. Document the sources you used to obtain the problem examples or business case information.

(2) Interpretation: Does the business problem make sense? Did you notice any unmentioned requirements that should be addressed by a solution? If you have experience relating to the business problem, can you identify anything that should be resolved differently than stated in the business case?

(3) Classes: Detail the specific classes that would be required for the problem solution. Use the concepts from Chapter 8s first two sections to determine what classes are best suited to the problem as noted in Chapter 8, classes typically are related to specific nouns in the problem description.

(4) Class Methods: For each of the classes from section (2), describe in detail (but do not implement) the methods that would be required in each class. Explain the purpose and the action for each method. Remember that methods are typically verbs or actions related to the problem and its solution.

(5) Summary: Explain why your classes and methods completely solve the business problem outlined in Section 1 and discuss whether your assumptions and alternatives are suitable, appropriate, and completely solve the problem. A sample design report is available to give you some ideas on the format of the report. Check SampleDesign.pdf attached. Your assignment will be graded using the College of Businesss Critical Thinking Rubric involving these four aspects. (a) Problem Identification: Correctness of description of problem & completeness of context surrounding the problem (b) Information Collection and Interpretation: Completeness of relevant information & credibility of information (c) Solution Development: Information is correctly interpreted & analyzed, assumptions are stated, and alternative solutions are discussed (d) Recommendation: The recommendation, justification, and limitations are clearly discussed and summarized.

Business cases for HW3 Inventory Management System Cy-vee is a grocery store located in Ames and maintains a database to track how much inventory in the store. The database can be used to update the inventories of various items when they are sold or replenished. Additionally, all transactions (product sales to customers, product orders from warehouses) are stored. At the end of each day, a daily report showing the inventory levels of the product will be generated. If a product has a low inventory level, the manager will place an order to replenish, which will be arrived in the next day. Hospital Management System Cy-clinic is a local hospital in Ames and maintains a database to manage doctors, patients, rooms, and appointments. A new patient is first registered in the database and then assigned to a doctor. When the patient calls the hospital, the nurse will search for available time slots of the primary doctor and rooms, and the patient will be given a few options. After the patient decides the appointment detail, the appointment will be recorded, and all the relevant information (doctors schedule, room availability, patients records) will be updated. Coffee Shop (Restaurant) Cyclone Caf is a coffee shop located in Ames. The shop maintains a database of menus and customer information. There also is a loyalty program, where $1 purchase turns into 1 reward point, and 100 reward points can be used to get a free coffee. When an order is placed, the barista enters the transaction information (customer, item, sales amount, reward Y/N, etc.). All the collected data will be used to generate a daily report showing the total number of coffees sold, total sales amount, the popular item of the day. School Management System MIS department maintains a database of instructors, students, and courses in the department. For a given semester, multiple courses are offered by the MIS department. Given the list of courses offered, an instructor can open multiple courses, and a student can enroll in multiple courses. The database will be used to manage and search the courses, instructors, and students in the department. For example, the manager can search for the number of students enrolled in each course, the list of courses each instructor is teaching, the list of courses each student is taking, etc.
