Sparks & Menser is one of the biggest retailers of in-house clothing in the country. Recent slums in the sales forced the management to seek measures for addressing better the customer needs and attracting new customers. After an initial investigation into the recent datawarehousing technologies and a feasibility study the Management Board of the company approved an IT project for creating a company's own data lake on the cloud as a preparation for data analysis using the Data Science technologies.
