SQL Question

Let's produce a view called OLD EMPLOYEE(ID, SSN, FNAME, LNAME, DOB) which contains all the employees born before January 1st, 1980 and also produce a view DOB(DOB) which contains all the DOBs of the employee in the database. Next, we would Insert a new employee (ID= 00000000100, SSN= 123-45-678, FNAME= Juno, LNAME=Green, DOB = 30-may-70) into view OLD EMPLOYEE and insert a new DOB record (21-jun-88) to view DOB. However actually, they are both trying to insert a tuple in an existing view but one succeeds while the other fails. Can you tell me which one is failed, which is succeed, and explain why, thank you.
