There are many problems in the integrated case study that are influenced by policy. Identify three Health Systems problems from the integrated study that you feel can be researched, keeping policy in mind.

Problems

$1.$ The inadequate infrastructure and process challenges within the community's healthcare system present significant barriers to effective healthcare delivery. These challenges include inadequate referral systems, management inefficiencies, and their collective impact on patient access and quality of care. Additionally, they contribute to increased strain on healthcare providers and underscore systemic challenges in healthcare delivery, necessitating comprehensive policy interventions to address these issues and ensure equitable access to quality care for all members of the community.

$2.$ The implementation and coverage of Ward$-$Based Outreach Teams $($WBOTs$)$ encounter significant hurdles that impede their ability to deliver primary healthcare services effectively. These challenges include insufficient training for community health workers $($CHWs$),$ staffing shortages driven by budget constraints and recruitment difficulties, and inadequate supervision and support for CHWs$.$ These issues result in gaps in CHWs$\text{'}$ knowledge and skills, increased workloads and delays in service delivery, and compromised quality of care and community trust. Addressing these challenges is essential to bolstering the capacity and impact of WBOTs in providing vital healthcare services to communities.

$3.$ The community's health system grapples with leadership and governance challenges, hindering effective decision$-$making and oversight. Fragmented decision$-$making, weak governance mechanisms, and limited transparency result in inefficient resource allocation, lack of accountability, and compromised quality of care. These systemic issues impede efforts to address community health needs comprehensively and achieve equitable health outcomes.
