Then place the needle of the compass on that point and draw anarc that intersects the circle twice. Mark one intersection pointB

and the other pointF.

Keep the compass setting. Place the needle of the compass on pointB

and draw anarc that intersects the circle. Label this pointC.

Step 5

Keep the compass setting. Place the needle of the compass on pointC

and draw anarc that intersects the circle. Mark that intersection pointD.

Step 6

Keep the compass setting. Place the needle of the compass on pointD

and draw anarc that intersects the circle. Mark that intersection pointE.

Step 7

Use a straightedge to draw six segments:AB, BC, CD, DE, EF, AND FA.

Step 8

You should now have a regular hexagon,ABCDEF.
