Examples:

Q1: What information will you need from the system? A1: We will need a daily report, by 8am of the following day, that lists all of the sales made the prior day, sorted by store number, employee number. We also need a subtotal for each employee and each store. This report is only for store managers to review.

Q2: When does the system need to be available? A2: The system must be available 24/7. If it is unavailable for maintenance, the maintenance should not be done at peak sales time and it should be done at the same time and day.

  1. The network architects will be interviewed to insure the system can handle the new users, customers, number of transactions, storage, etc. and still provide 4 second response time.

Q3: What is the maximum number of users the system can handle at any one time and what is your average response time? A3: We can handle up to 100,000 requests/transactions at one time. Response time is about 4 seconds per transaction.

Q4: What e-commerce transactions are allowed in your system?

A4: We can only accept credit card transactions from VISA and MasterCard at this time.
