Once you have received the notice to proceed (milestone activity-0), begin excavation (20), order / deliver the steel (60), and order / deliver the brick (40) so they come in on time. The footing and foun- dation (20) and the underslab utilities (12) will follow the excavation and precede slab-on-grade (5). When the slab is done and the steel is on site, you can begin to erect the steel (20). When the steel is erected you can begin framing the exterior walls (13) with your framing crew. When the exterior walls are done and the brick has been delivered to the site, start the masonry (10). After your framing crew is done with the exterior walls, they can begin framing the interior partitions (25). Ten days after the interior partitions begin, you can begin HVAC rough-in (25) and five days after that begins, you can begin the electrical rough-in (17). The plumbing rough-in (12) will begin seven days after the electrical rough-in begins. When the masonry is done, you can begin to roof (10) the building. When the roof is done, install the exterior doors and windows (13); however, you can't do this until your crew is done with the inte- rior partitions. Interior finishes (40) can begin after the exterior doors and windows are installed and the HVAC, electrical , and plumbing rough-ins are complete.
