The content of your document should demonstrate your ability to apply the concepts learned throughout the course and you are expected to use the knowledge gained to create and explain and justify your selected approach.
Monitoring and Control is a key function within any project to ensure all project deliverables are executed at a standard to achieve project success. Through this process, the project team is able to ensure the key elements of scope, time, cost and quality within the project, is achieved as planned.
1. Describe the vision and business focus of your current organization and identify/design a suitable project to be undertaken. Create/state the Scope of Works for the project. (7 marks)
2. Create a Monitoring and Control Plan for your project team to execute throughout the project lifecycle. This plan should speak to the monitoring and control systems for each of the four (4) phases within the life cycle of your project. Ensure you clearly explain the processes involved within each phase so the rest of the project team and your managers outside of the project team, who are not project management trained, can understand your Monitoring & Control Plan.
