Students are required to work in groups on a term project. Topic: Fixed Income investment outside US$.$

The report should include

$1.$ A comparison of the government and corporate bond markets between the US and XYZ $($a country market of your group$$s choice$)$

The comparison could benchmark against the size of say the equities markets.

$2.$ Pick four corporate bonds of two different sectors $($e$.$g$.$ financials, utilities, telecom etc$)$ from XYZ and compare them against the comparable ones from US$.$ That is$,2$ bonds of each sector, one from US and one from XYZ$.$ You probably need to use Bloomberg for this one.

Please take the credit ratings of the bonds in discussion as well as the benchmark bonds into consideration when doing the analysis.

Structure of the written project:

$1.$ Describe the development of major fixed income markets in country XYZ with historical data.

$2.$ Describe the development of these markets relative to the stock market.

$3.$ Pick two bonds from XYZ $($from different segments$)$ and compare with the comparable ones from US$.$

$4.$ Identify the opportunities or uniqueness of XYZ$.$

$5.$ Reference section $($data source$).$
