Students will select a technology that they believe will disruptive a particular business sector in the future. Each student will research their chosen technology and provide detailed information on what kind of impact it may have. Directions 1. Review the rubric for this assignment to ensure you understand the elements upon which this assignment will be graded. 2. Choose a disruptive technology related to business. 3. Research the chosen topic. 4. Write a 2-3 page (written portion) double-spaced paper (approximately 500 to 750 words) analysis of the technology. Review the Writing Standards (bottom of page) for details on how to format your paper. Include a separate title page and citations page and page numbers. On the citations page, at a minimum, cite three sources. 5. The 2-3 page paper must include the following 3 sections. Structure your paper using these sections as the outline. a. First section: Description of the technology b. Second section: Analysis of the impact of this type of technology c. Third section: Conclusion 6. Upload your paper to Blackboard for grading by April 21st, 2019 (11:59pm). Writing Standards All written assignments and all forms of communications such as email, shall use correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and etiquette using the MLA standard. Use spell check to correct spelling and grammatical errors, and have a friend or colleague help you proof read your assignments prior to submission or visit the Success Center to get additional assistance. This is a college-level course and all work submitted by students should reflect a high degree of accuracy and neatness. The instructor reserves the right to reject written work that contains grammatical or structural errors. The format of all papers is as follows. All papers must be typed, doubled-spaced and use a standard font: Arial or Times New Roman, 12-point font. Papers should be free of grammatical or typographical errors, and in non-discriminatory language. Proper sentence and paragraph structure is required. Always include a separate title page with your name, course name, course department, number and section, topic title, and due date. Written pages should have a 1-inch margin all around. Number all pages (except cover page). Always include a citations page and ensure all materials are referenced and properly cited within the text using MLA format.
