The main point of the outline is the equipment you want your supervisor to buy. You should provide an explanation for why this piece of equipment, why now, how it would be useful, and other facts to support your idea. Look at a simple sample outline or a more specific presentation outline for ideas and formatting.

The references page should contain at least 3 sources where you found information you will use to support your idea.

Your outline will be graded on:

• Structure
• Introduction (3 points)
• Body with supporting points (10 points)
• Conclusion that summarizes or restates your main point. (2 points)
• Correct outline formatting (5 points)

Your references page will be graded on:

• All appropriate reference elements (e.g., author, title, year, etc.) included for type of source (e.g. online article versus printed book). Look at some sample sources for examples.
