(10 Marks) (Word limit for each part: 100 words)

Short Scenario A. Alaya Jaiswal is studying computer science and is in the 4th semester. She has been losing interest in studying in general, and now, doesnt feel like studying some subjects. Two subjects appear to be too difficult for her in the current semester, although those didnt appear difficult in previous semesters. She has even been thinking of switching to Media sciences or Business Administration.

Q1.A.i. What is the reason of Alayas problems, i.e., her loss of interest in some subjects while some other subjects seem too difficult to her? Why do you think so? Give empirical evidence and logical reasonings. (2.5 Marks)

Q1.A.ii. Suggest her practical stepwise remedial solution that would enable her handle her problems and regain her lost interest in studying those subjects. (2.5 Marks)

Short Scenario B. Anzar Mangrio is studying Microeconomics and Psychology in this semester. He likes both the subjects. He was quite excited when the laws of supply and demand were taught in the class of Microeconomics. When the teacher made several graphs using simple linear equations to explain the two laws, he got the idea that he understood it very well. But when he tried to make graphs at his home using the data in textbook questions, he wasnt successful. He read the text in the chapter and went over the solved examples, but couldnt understand it and got confused. He read the text and tried to solve examples again and again, but his confusion worsened. He tried to get help from internet as well as from some of his friends, but his confusion on the topic continued. Even the review of his class notes didnt help him in clearly understanding the graph making procedure. He got tensed as he couldnt solve the marked assignment given to the students.

Q1.B.i. What is the reason for Anzars problems? Why has he been getting so confused in trying to understand the graphs of supply and demand? Give empirical evidence and logical reasonings. (2.5 Marks)

Q1.B.ii. Suggest him practical stepwise remedial solution that would enable him handle his confusion while trying to understand the graph making procedure. (2.5 Marks)
