Some of the advantages of resource management are to avoid unforeseen challenges which can cause lead times to go up which leads to less profits. It can also prevent burnout in your teams amount of workload they can handle one any given day which can also affect lead times and profits. Another important aspect of resource management is being able to keep an accurate inventory of all of the resources being used to achieve the company being able to fill orders. If a company does not keep an accurate inventory of the resources being used to fill orders and keep up with demand it can lead to a loss of money on the profits being made which means there will be less money to go around to all the other departments which if that keeps happening it can lead to the loss of the companies employees which will slowly lead to the companies slow demise. A company's ability to manage resources in an organized and accurate way can drastically impact the company's assets in a good way and bad way dependent on the way it manages resources. I feel if the company is able to find a perfect balance of managing resources but not spending all of their money in the process of managing its resources.
