First, I must consider what needs to be done daily to keep the business on task-for example, who is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, and who is responsible for drive-through. Then I must define the roles and relationships among the baristas, shift manager, and store manager. Roles and relationships are crucial in order to have a smooth operation. I must have the answers to questions like the lines of communication among the workers. Who will resolve disputes? I must then also examine what needs to be managed. Whatever the management looks like, there is usually some agreement about what an organization needs to be managed (Musonera, 2021). The broad categories are people, money, supplies, and equipment. Managers serve as the core of an organization and strongly influence whether a company is successful or not. Experienced managers can help expand an organization by leading, disciplining, compensating, and assessing the performance of the employees within their authority (Baack, 2014). Equally important, they are expected to be well-trained and responsible for promoting diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environments. Furthermore, an effective manager can motivate their team to accomplish organizational goals. Before an organization can benefit from effective leadership, its leaders must fully understand their leadership style and its effects on their employees. The management plan for the stores within my region starts with identifying individuals with positive personalities and democratic leadership styles. According to Putra et al. (2021, as cited in Ikram et al., 2023), the democratic leadership style, known as participative leadership, effectively motivates subordinates and enhances employee productivity. Recruiting managers with this leadership style will positively affect employees, leading to increased job satisfaction and reduced absenteeism.
