This assignment requires you to produce a summary and analysis of an article. The objective of this assignment is demonstrating understanding of summaries and analyses as distinct genres: the summary offers you the opportunity to show your ability to concisely describe the argument of the original article, and the analysis is a chance to explain the connection between writing strategies and argument based on close attention to rhetoric.
