Task 1: Allocate Budget Resources ASSESSMENT INSTRUCTIONS Your assessor will observe you as you discuss fund allocation of the organisation with at least two relevant colleagues: STEPS TO TAKE 1.Access and review the following: Your organisation's accounting software Organisational operating procedures Workplace documents and/or sources of information on the following: oOrganisation's three-month budget oStaff and rostering requirements oExisting suppliers of the organisation 2.Discuss budget allocation of the organisation with at least two relevant colleagues . Colleagues refers to members of the organisation who are responsible for implementation of activities based on allocated budget. Discussion must include the following: The organisation's three-month operational budget The organisation's current operating procedures for budgeting and allocation 3.Identify at least one priority for each of the following operational factors of the organisation: Staff requirement Rostering requirement Operating needs Existing supplier requirement New supplier requirement 4.Identify at least two changes for each of the following based on priorities identified: Organisational income Organisational expenditure 5.Allocate funds for the priorities identified in the step above for a three-month budget: Staff requirement Rostering requirement Operating needs Existing supplier requirement New supplier requirement 6.Seek feedback from colleagues about the budget
