Task 3: Research - Deriving Design Specifications You are on a team asked to design a new passenger seat for airplanes. More specifically, you have been tasked with creating new design specifications for the width of the seats and the width of the armrests for economy passenger seating. You have also been asked to note whether there are any other criteria the airline should consider in their design related to the seats' width (for example: can the armrest and seat cushion overlap? Should any components be able to move/adjust?). To do this, you should anticipate the potential needs of your customer (the airline) as well as its future customers (the passengers), and research online to develop your own recommendation for how wide the seats and armrests should be. Your answer for this task should note A) the sources you used in your research, B) the customer needs you identified, and C) your recommended design specifications (as well as any additional criteria) for the new passenger seating.
