Graphics are extremely important to technical writing because displaying information visually often allows a writer to reiterate their point more easily. This exercise asks you to practice incorporating graphics into your document effectively utilizing the standard rules for format and documentation.

You are being asked to write a memo to your instructor that demonstrates the process of making a sandwich with pictures and prose describing each step. Your sandwich can be as detailed or straightforward as you choose, but your memo should contain an introduction, body, and conclusion, as all your documents should, and each step should be thoroughly explained to your audience.

Your graphics should be embedded in your document, labeled correctly, and referred to in the text of your description. Please be sure to use what you know about memo formatting.

My question is, should memos have a set of instructions in their body? Or should the instructions be separate from the introduction, body, and conclusion? Please provide an example.
