Task: Profile and comment upon an enterprising individual OR an entrepreneurial firm by applying some conceptual and theoretical tools learnt in the first part of the course (from ENT-T00 to ENT-T003): If you choose to discuss an individual, this can be either an enterprising individual (someone who has already started or engaged in an entrepreneurial career) or a potential entrepreneur (someone who has not started an entrepreneurial career, yet, but might do so in the future). In both cases, the individual must be either someone from your family/friend circle or yourself. In other terms, he/she must be someone with whom you are already acquainted. In this case the general goal is assessing his/her entrepreneurial characteristics using the concepts introduced in the first part of the course (e.g., identity, motivations, goals, character).

In case you choose to discuss a business instead, you do not need to be acquainted with it in personal terms. In this case, the goal is providing a description/account of the business by applying relevant concepts used in the first part of the course. For instance, you can categorize it as an SME, a family business, a start-up, independent or corporate, and so on, and explain what features make it such.
