Give attention to the following: Include and, if appropriate, expand upon the metrics in the Charter. Ensure that the deliverables effectively translate the technical and organizational intent of the Charter. Be aware that what you are describing has to be further elaborated in the subsequent WBS of Part 3. Include all of, and, if appropriate, expand upon, the "management-related" deliverables in the format. 2. A project's life cycle can have any number of phases. The PMBOK illustrates various project life cycles from two to seven phases. In a not-more-than one page paper, define the life cycle phases of the MXE project. Caution: Life Cycle phases are not necessarily the same as the PMBOK's five Process Groups. For example, "Monitoring and Controlling" is not a project phase -- it happens throughout a project.
