Step 1:Read Chapter 8: Innovations in Field Operations in Police and Society 8th Ed Kenneth Novak, the Kelling and Wilson (1982) article, and view the media in the module. This week, you will learn about newer methods of police field operations and one type of field operation that is ineffective based on the method of enforcement. First, chapter 8 discusses innovations in field operations such as community-based approaches, placed-based approaches, which you read about last week in the 2015 Kopher et al. article, and person-based approaches.

Step 2: Complete the following tasks (Post the answers to this step as soon as possible)

1. Three questions: Write three questions the assigned readings sparked for you (or left you with).
