The first barrier is physical barriers such as outdated equipment such as phones, computers. These are tangible items that are used for communication.

Prevention$/$Solution:

For example, I only bought the basic Zoom package. I will upgrade so we can meet as long as we need too.

The second barrier is when there are attitudes$/$emotional noise within the group. If someone comes to the group angry, is upset, angry, or needing to win in the conversation, this will impede the group from success.

Prevention$/$Solution:

You can ask them if they need to talk, or take a break before coming to the meeting.

The third barrier is related to language. It is important to understand each other. If there is too much professional jargon, slang, or people with a variety of different languages, this could be a barrier to communication within the group.
