Term Project $$ Wedding Case Description

This project aims to plan and produce a wedding ceremony in Vancouver for a couple $($Joe and Sally$)$ with a

budget of $$150,000.$ The project provides service including locating the venue, catering, hair and makeup,

lighting, entertainment during the reception, limo services, open bar, photography and florists. Joe and Sally

would like you and your team to create a project plan for their wedding.

These are the notes you took after talking to Joe and Sally.

$$ Wedding planning needs to start as soon as possible. Wedding day is August $15/2024$

$5$ separate family members will need hotel rooms booked $(5$ suites$)$ for $2$ nights.

$$ Budget of $$150,000$ will be provided by the bride and grooms parents

$$ Indoor and outdoor space needs to accommodate $200$ guests $($including the bridal party$)$ for a

reception and a seated meal. This includes the wedding party,

$$ Limo rental needs to be booked for bride and groom and $5$ bridesmaids and ushers

$$ Upscale caterer needs to be selected with $3$ meal options provided to the bride and groom

$$ Cake needs to be commissioned $(3$ tier$)$ strawberry flavored

$$ Entertainment $($music$/$lighting$/$sound$)$ during the reception

$$ Minister needs to be arranged

$$ Photographer needs to be selected $($Videography should also be included$)$

$$ Hair and makeup needs to be arranged for bride and bridesmaids

$$ Bridesmaid dresses have to be selected $$ maid of honor will provide assistance

$$ There are five bridesmaids and five bride grooms

$$ Small gifts for all guests needs to be created

$$ All decorations for the receptions with a lilac theme$/$color

$$ Flowers for the reception, bride, and bridesmaids needs to be arranged

$$ Invitations need to selected and sent out to all guests

$$ Post wedding cleanup of reception has to be planned

$$ Bride and groom will purchase their own attire
