Thanks for sharing your thoughts and plans. My first thought is what concentration are you in? I would assume developmental psychology based on wanting to be a school counselor/psychologist. However, I do think you would need to get licensing to be a school psychologist. A buddy of mine works in that field, and it seems so impactful, both on his life and to the lives of the students he serves. I know he has a hard time because he is one who I would describe as on fire for Jesus, but he has to adhere to school policy and not mention religion in any meaningful way. It's hard because he has the answer to what really would help these kids who are struggling with different things, but he can't share it. Is that something you have heard of or have thought about in pursuing this type of career? I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
