The 97th AMW presented the crowd with yet another exciting airshow on the second day of competition.Over two days, a total of 17 sorties flew. Those that participated in a sortie were given a performance score. Those who did not fly was subsequently awarded a score of 0 points for that sortie. After both days of flight, an average of those sorties was used to determine the 2019 Airshow Champion.

Our overall 2019 Airshow Champion was the KC-135, with a mean score of 3.78. The KC-135 led both days with the highest mean performance score of 3.78 and continued to fly even with inclement weather. According to our data, the probability of another aircraft performing better than the winner (KC-135) is 64.06%. the KC-135 produced a z-score of -0.36.This proved to be the closest of the 2 with the highest probability of recurrence at 0.3594, with the other being .0.2981 which had a 70.19 percent probability.
