The assignment:

Map out the process for a doctor's visit in an ambulatory (outpatient) setting for your primary care physician. The trigger is the Patient A needs an appointment. The end of the process is the completion of the appointment and patient exits the medical office. Indicate any wait times ex call to make an appt place on hold for 5 minutes or can make an appointment online therefore no wait. Include any process for lab work or diagnostic testing such X-Ray, MRI etc. For each step, indicate if you think the step is value added from the perspective of the patient.
