The biggest part of this class for me was the financial concepts and models. I already knew that finances play an integral part of a company's success, but I didn't fully understand how finances were incorporated. It was interesting to see the formulas for the different financial techniques. I broadened my perspective of Transportation Economics through my curiosity about each subject and by trying to thoroughly understand the content. My curiosity led me to better understand worldwide sourcing, supplier relationships, managing cost, and the importance of inventory.
