The case brief assignment is broken into two parts.

The case is = Cleveland Board of Education v. La Fleur, 414 U.S. 632 (1974)

Part 1, the written portion, is established to provide students necessary skills in research, synthesis, and writing.Students will write a case brief to gather essential information located in complex laws or court decisions in order to organize them into a concise format.

The skills acquired in this exercise can be transferred in other applications when dealing with laws, policies, and procedures in which you will encounter in your context.
