The character i chose for this assignment was "Beau Bennett" inthe show "The Ranch". This character is a "lift yourself up by thebootstrap" kind of guy, no-nonsense, get it done kind of guy. Ithink he is a survivor and innovator. He is not about fashion, heis about function, clothes serve a purpose, generally forprotection while working, not for appearances (denim and flannelare the only things you will find in his closet). When faced with ahardship, he would find a way to overcome, and mostly the hardshipshe faced were "mechanical" in nature. I picture him as one who whenthey say "I need to go to town to get something", it for sure meanthe would be at the hardware or feed store. He is is not swayed bybright and shiny things, it is all about being economical andhaving purpose. He puts his family first, but also hold themaccountable. Family dinners are no frills, no linens and whitenapkins for him. For him, he is about family, friends, andcommunity, he is not interested in travel, unless it is into thewoods and includes hunting.
