W4 Assignment 1: Conversations about Ruth

At that point,you will be provided an opportunity to earn these points asynchronously through a paper. The criteria for that paper is as follows:

1. Choose to address Naomi, Ruth, or Boaz. (I choose Ruth)
2. Summarize the character's story: the supporting characters, setting, key verses, plot summary and other important features.
3. Compose a full paragraph on where you read about hesed in the book of Ruth, and how the character you chose demonstratedhesed.(Remember: your final project revolves around the Hebrew wordhesed).
4. Compose your paper with a modern day equivalent of the character you chose.
   1. Who would you describe as a modern day Naomi, Ruth, or Boaz?
   2. What is their circumstance(s)?
   3. Why do they do what they do?
   4. How do they feel?
   5. What are the consequences of their actions?
   6. Do you personally know this modern Naomi/Ruth/Boaz?
