The chosen topic for my project is "What effect does playing music have on patients?" I need to locate at least five relevant and credible sources from the ORU Library website and create an annotated bibliography. After skimming the sources and taking notes, I will decide on a thesis, which typically answers the research question posed. Next, I will identify the main points to cover, usually comprising the list of causes or effects found during research. These points will be used to develop a formal outline. Then, I will compose the opening paragraph of the Research Paper, concluding with the thesis statement. This Introduction, along with the thesis, outline, and annotated bibliography, will be submitted.
