The course learning objective which has had the most impact on my learning is number $4.$ Evaluate corporate competitive positions and develop an understanding of the global marketplace and its impact on strategic analysis. This has had the most impact because I feel that understanding how to both evaluate and understand companies$$ competitive positions and the global marketplace is important to growing in my career. While I am unsure what area of business I would like to end up in$,$ I feel that understanding the global marketplace and how it has an impact on the strategic analysis for the company I am working for is a valuable tool to have in my skillset.

I feel the course learning objective which has had the least impact on my learning is number $2.$ Conduct an organizational resource$-$based situational analysis, including a comprehensive environmental scan. I feel that way because I do not feel that the comprehensive environmental scan portion of this learning objective will be used much in my future career. While I think it aided to making this class well rounded, I do not feel I took away a large amount of information regarding this learning objective.

How will you apply what you have learned in this class in your career? Explain.

I feel that I will use what I have learned in this class to not only evaluate strategic decisions within whatever company I am working for, but also allow me to analyze where my company is at and how we can improve. Being able to explain in depth what we are doing right and what we could be doing better is extremely important for the success of the business. If I am placed into a decision$-$making position, I want to be able to not only analyze what is the correct choice for the company, but also be able to articulate that analysis to my coworkers. While I may not be making decisions and analyzing the global marketplace every day, having these skills to lean upon when needed will continue to help me succeed in whatever I end up doing.
