The EA Transition Roadmap describes the EA management process, implementation methodology, and documentation framework, as well as summaries of current and future views of the EA. It is a living document that is updated at regular intervals to provide clear version control for changes in current and future views of EA components and artifacts at each level of the framework. The IT roadmap includes all initiatives needed to make progress toward the future EA. The efforts in the roadmap are prioritized and individual projects are undertaken. Its important to pay close attention to the dependencies between efforts. This assignment requires you to utilize the concepts youve learned in Chapter 9 of the Bernard text and Chapters 6-8 of the Pham text. You will provide several illustrations as well as a roadmap for an organization you select. You may select an organization or case study that was presented in the text or materials but know that you will need to apply the concepts as not all the answers will be present.

1. Develop a flow chart for EA governance in a public library. Show where policy development and decision-making occur, as well as interfaces to other management processes, including capital planning, project management, and security. 2. Develop a Sequencing Plan for the implementation of a major commercial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product. 3. Develop an EA Roles and Responsibility Matrix for a public library. 4. Document the IT Roadmap for the same organization you used in #1 to #3 for at least 5 initiatives/projects. You should organize it by function and priority. a.
