The economic issues when looking at data analytics pertain mostly to business revenue.By analyzing data from specific customers, business can alter their marketing in deceptive ways to make consumers pay more for things they may not need,or didn't think they needed before this invasive marketing, this will enlarge the market because people will buy more, even if they don't necessarily need to.Legal issues include invasion of privacy, to what extent can business look into our personal information?Businesses collect data based on our actions on the web,but at what point does this collection of data cross the line, when do they know too much about us?Ethical issues pertain also to what companies know about us,but they do not share what they know. They collect data to deceive us, rather than exposing what data they collect and showing us how they use that data. The social issue that rises from all of this is the culture that these businesses are forming. As a society, we must resolve the issue of what business we buy from, what social media sites we visit, and in all, what we do online. Many people do not even care to think about the information sites like Instagram and Facebookcollect from us on a daily basis based on the content we look at and the ads we purchase from, but the thingis, we should. As a society is our social responsibility to make conscience decision about who we buy from to make business more ethical. My question is, why doesn't society avoid social media nowadays? Since clearly they use data analytics to appeal to us personally and most likely in ways that are not ethical.
