Find the deflection of point B and D on Frame ABCD by the virtual work method. Account for the effects of axial, shear, and moment on the deflection. Use coordinates x$1$ and x$2$ as shown above.

Determine the total displacement of point $x$ on the structure due to all of the combined deflections on Frame ABCD and the Beam XY$.$ Do similar analysis for the identical beam behind for point Z$.$ What is the difference in height between Point $x$ and Point Z$.$ Make appropriate assumptions for E$,$ I, K$,$ G$,$ A$.$ Make an annotated sketch of the total displacement of Points $x$ and $Z$ on the structure to describe where water drainage should be made on the canopy roof based on your analysis.
