Performing includes the emergence of a solution which leads the group process of how functional roles emerge. Lastly is the adjourning stage which can lead to the dissolution of the group. "The general agreement of the project/ team is usally outlined at the 1st meeting in the punctuated- equilibrium model" (Puscasu, A. 2020). "At the initial meeting it is possible that a time table, along with deadlines and responsibilities, is allocated to various members of the group" (Puscasu, A. 2020). The groups workload will usually be a little more since this is typically a temporary group. Then, there is a mid-stage meeting which is a follow up meeting from the temp. group. This helps to check the progress of the group. This will focus more on immediate group tasks and priorities. Then, there is the end of stage meeting when the deadline is coming up and the overall finalization of the projects needs to be a total team effort.
