The following is a common Bolo scenario. It obviously includes all of the information provided by Toronto Police to York Regional Police (YRP) Communications (real life example - this is an actual event). You are working in the YRP PSAP and need to provide this Bolo to all units you are or would be dispatching.

Scenario:

Toronto Police Communications calls to advise that they have just had a robbery occur at Fairview Shopping Mall at the Birks Jewellery Store. The store is located on second level east side of the mall, unit 201. The vehicle they left in was a Honda, yellow, 2015 with a black stripe on the side of the vehicle. There were two suspects. One black male and one white female. They left westbound on Sheppard Avenue towards Yonge Street. Female had long blond hair, wearing a white jacket and blue jeans. No other descriptors. The male had a handgun.He put it to the employee's head and demanded all the money. He was wearing a blue jean jacket and blue jeans, black running shoes and a black toque. He had a gold earring in his right ear.The female was carrying an IGA bag which they put a lot of jewellery into and the money. How could or would you broadcast to all districts?
