The Fourteenth Amendment $(1868)$ made anyone born in the United States an American citizen. Today, the provision is at the heart of the immigration debate; by Constitutional law, even the children of undocumented immigrants born on American soil are American citizens. Some feel that these children should not be citizens, since their parents were here illegally. What is your view on this matter?
